A timeline for each day
The next 8 days, one list per day. Each item shows the time, who it is for, and the location. The location is tappable, so Riverside Park opens in Maps on her phone.
You came from a plan page
Sense is the family organizer that made the page you just read. If you look after more than one family, every family can send you a page like that: the week, the notes, the house details, always current, no app for you to keep up with.
Share with your nanny
Sense gives your nanny or sitter a private web page with the next 8 days of your family calendar, your notes for each day, and the house details she keeps having to ask about. You text her the link once. It updates itself when plans change, and she never installs an app or signs in to anything.
Lupe's plan
Shared by Sarah·Always current
Ethan's inhaler is in the front pocket of his backpack. Mike is home by 6.
The group text
"Tuesday pickup is 3:15 now, not 3:05. Ethan goes home with the Nguyens after soccer, so Lupe only has Olivia. The EpiPen is in the blue pouch in the pantry, not his backpack. Mike is traveling until Thursday."Sent to the nanny, your partner, and your mom. Three thumbs-up. Plan changed again by lunch.
You already keep the family calendar. The problem is that the person who actually has your kids from three to six does not have it. So every change becomes a text, every text becomes a thread, and by Wednesday nobody is sure which version is current. "Who has Ethan today?" arrives while you are in a meeting. "Where is the EpiPen?" arrives when it matters most.
You have tried the obvious fixes. Sharing your Google calendar means she needs a Google account and sees everything, including the dentist and the date night. A screenshot of the week is wrong by Tuesday. A paper schedule on the fridge was accurate the day you printed it. None of them stop the group text, because none of them stay current on their own.
How it works
Step 01
In the web app, open Settings, My Family, and choose Add profile. A profile is a name and a color for someone you plan around who does not use Sense. No login, no chores, no Kid Mode. Just a person on the calendar.
Step 02
Lupe shows up in the people picker like anyone else, and you can say "Lupe has pickup on Tuesday" in chat. Turn on Also show for Olivia and Ethan and their days land on her page too, so she sees the whole afternoon, not just the parts with her name on them.
Step 03
Choose Share their plan on her profile. Send opens your phone's share sheet so the link goes out by text or WhatsApp, or Copy link if you would rather paste it. We never email it. You send it once, and that is the last time you send it.
What she sees
The next 8 days, one list per day. Each item shows the time, who it is for, and the location. The location is tappable, so Riverside Park opens in Maps on her phone.
At the top of any day you can leave a note. "Inhaler is in the front pocket." "Mike is home by 6." "Pizza money is on the counter." It shows as a note from you, right where she will read it.
Four blocks at the bottom of the page, linked from the top: Home address, Allergies and safety, House rules, and Anything else. The answers to the questions she asks in week one, written once.
A reminder assigned to Lupe sits on the day it is due, next to the events. "Return library books" lands on Thursday, so Thursday is when it gets done.
Events you mark private only appear on her page when she is on them herself. Your appointments, your partner's travel and your anniversary dinner are not her business, and they are not on her page.
It is a web page. It opens on an iPhone or an Android, in whatever browser she already uses. She can bookmark it or add it to her home screen, and it works the same way either way.
Always current
The page is not a copy of your calendar. It is your calendar, filtered down to what concerns her, drawn fresh every time she opens it. Move pickup to 3:15 in Sense and her page says 3:15 the next time she looks. Add a dentist appointment for Olivia on Thursday and it is on Thursday. Nothing is resent, nothing is re-exported, and there is no stale screenshot floating around in a thread.
That is the difference between a link and a nanny schedule template. The template is accurate the day you fill it in. The link is accurate today. If you want the template anyway, we wrote one, and we will tell you honestly where it falls over.
You stay in control
One tap on her profile and the link is dead. Not expired later, not hidden. Dead the moment you tap it. Share again whenever you like and you get a fresh address.
Replaces the current link with a different one. The old address stops working. Useful when a sitter has moved on, or when a link got forwarded further than you wanted.
An optional 4 to 8 digit PIN as a second check. The link alone is not enough to open the page. Tell her the PIN once, in person or on a call.
Once a plan is shared, every event and reminder gets a Keep off shared plans switch. Flip it on the family vacation and it is off every shared page at once, without touching anything else.
On your own view of her page, each item has a Hide from Lupe control. It hides that one thing from that one person. Show undoes it. Nothing else on the page changes.
Open the link while you are signed in and you get an editing view for notes plus a View as Lupe switch, so you can check her page before you send it and any time after.
Not just nannies
Add her as a profile, put her on the pickups, and share her plan. She opens one link on the phone she already has and sees her Tuesdays, your note about where to park, and the house address, without creating an account she will forget the password to. How families share the kids' schedule with grandparents.
A profile can be a label, not a person. "Help With Rides" goes on any practice that still needs a driver, and its plan page is the list of open rides for the week. Text that link to the other parents and the ride gets claimed without a reply-all. A carpool schedule that runs itself.
Compared with what you have tried
Sharing a Google calendar means she needs a Google account and sees that whole calendar. Cozi is one shared login, so whoever has it sees everything, and your nanny would be logging in as your family. Nori lets a nanny or grandparent see the shared calendar, but each of them needs their own Nori account. Skylight invites caregivers into the account, where they see the whole calendar on the wall display or in the app, and we cover how Skylight handles profiles and caregivers separately. As of October 2026 none of them hand her a page she can simply open. Sense does: a link, scoped to her, that you can switch off. The rest of Sense, the AI family organizer that reads the school emails and keeps the calendar current in the first place, is what makes the page worth opening.
FAQ
No. The link opens in the browser on her phone, with no app to install, no account, and no password. If she adds it to her home screen it behaves like an app, but she never has to.
No. The page is read-only for the person you share it with. Only a signed-in parent can change the calendar or the notes, and a parent who opens the link while signed in gets an editing view for notes plus a View as switch to see exactly what she sees.
Anyone who has the link, and the PIN if you set one, can open the page. If a link ends up somewhere it should not be, choose Make a new link and the old address stops working immediately. Stop sharing ends it altogether.
Yes. Open the profile under Settings, My Family, and choose Stop sharing. The link is dead the moment you tap it. You can share again later, and you get a fresh address when you do.
No. Profiles and plan sharing are free on every Sense plan, including the free one. Nothing on the shared page is gated behind Premium.
Yes. Once a plan is shared, every event and reminder gets a Keep off shared plans switch, which keeps it off every shared page. On your own view of her page, each item also has Hide from Lupe, which hides that one thing from that one person. Private events only appear when she is on them.
Yes. Add the sitter as a profile, put her on the evening, share the plan, and text the link before she arrives. The Good to know section carries the address, allergies and house rules. Stop sharing when the night is over. For a paper version, print our babysitter information sheet.
Sense is free to start, and sharing a plan is free on every tier. Premium is free to try, no card required.
