Sense Siri Shortcuts

Sense registers App Intents with iOS, so you can ask Siri to add events, list today's schedule, or run a Sense action from your iPhone, Apple Watch, HomePod, or CarPlay - no setup needed.

All input methods

How it works

  1. Install Sense on your iPhone

App Intents are registered automatically once Sense is installed - no skill to enable.

  2. Ask Siri

"Hey Siri, list today in Sense." Or open the iOS Shortcuts app to build a custom phrase.

  3. Siri returns the answer

Read aloud on HomePod, shown on Watch, displayed on CarPlay - depending on the device.

Where Siri Shortcuts shine

  • Apple Watch from a soccer field

Coach announces next week's game. Raise the Watch, add the event, never break stride.

  • CarPlay on the way to school

"Hey Siri, list today in Sense." Hear the day before drop-off - reminders before they're forgotten.

  • HomePod in the kitchen

Hands deep in dishwater. "Hey Siri, add a reminder in Sense to pack lunches."

  • iPhone lock screen

Add the "List Today in Sense" shortcut as a lock-screen widget for one-tap access.

  • Action Button (iPhone 15 Pro and up)

Bind a Sense shortcut to the Action Button for a true one-press add-event.

  • Automations

"When I leave the office, list today in Sense" - triggered via the Shortcuts app, no manual ask.

Anywhere Siri runs - iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, HomePod, CarPlay, and the Mac. Shortcuts you set up appear across all of them automatically.

  • Do I need to set up phrases manually?

No. Sense registers App Intents with iOS, so Siri suggests phrases like "List today in Sense" and "Add reminder in Sense" once the app is installed. You can also customize phrases in the iOS Shortcuts app.

  • What shortcuts are available?

Add Event, Add Reminder, List Today's Events, List Upcoming Reminders, Ask Sense, Complete Chore, and Get Bedtime Story.
