Share to Sense
Tap the iOS share sheet from any app - Messages, Safari, Photos, Notes, your inbox - and choose Sense. The text, image, or link becomes an event in your family calendar without leaving the app you were in.
How it works
-
See content worth saving
A birthday invite in iMessage, an event page in Safari, a flyer in Photos.
-
Tap share, pick Sense
The iOS share sheet appears - choose Sense from the app row. First time only: tap "More" to enable Sense in the share list.
-
Review and save
Sense opens, extracts the event from the shared content, and shows you what it found. Edit or save - it lands on your family calendar.
What you can share
-
Text
Selected text from a message, an article, an email body, a note. Sense reads the dates inside.
-
A single image
Photo from your Camera Roll, a screenshot, a flyer image. One per share.
-
A single URL
Eventbrite event page, Meetup link, restaurant reservation, news article with a date.
-
Not yet: documents
PDFs and Word docs don't come through the share sheet today. Use chat document upload for those.
-
Not yet: multiple at once
One image or one URL per share. Two photos? Share twice, or upload them in chat.
-
Privacy
Shared content goes to your Sense account, gets processed by AI, and is deleted within 90 days.
Where share shines
-
Birthday invite in iMessage
Long-press the message, share to Sense - date, time, location all extracted.
-
Event page in Safari
Reading about a museum night or library workshop? Share the page URL into Sense.
-
Photo in your Camera Roll
That flyer you snapped at school pickup - share from Photos, no need to open Sense first.
-
WhatsApp group chat
Coach's away-game schedule in a long message - share the text directly.
-
Slack thread
Work all-hands moved to a new time. Share the Slack message text into Sense.
-
Notes app
Quick notes you typed during a school meeting - select and share to Sense to file the dates.

Frequently asked
-
What can I share to Sense?
Text, a single image, and a single URL per share. Sense reads whatever you share and extracts the events. PDFs and other documents go through chat upload instead, not the share sheet.
-
Does this work on Android?
The iOS share extension is live. Android share-target support is on the roadmap. For now, Android users can paste content directly into Sense chat for the same result.
-
What happens after I tap Sense in the share sheet?
Sense opens, reads the shared content, and shows you the extracted event(s). Review what was found, edit anything, and save - the event goes onto your family calendar.
-
Can I share from WhatsApp, iMessage, and Slack?
Yes. Any iOS app that exposes the system share sheet - Messages, WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, email apps, browsers, Photos, Notes - can share into Sense.
