Calendar Sync
One-way sync with Apple iCloud Calendar
Your iCloud calendars (the ones in the Calendar app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac) come into Sense through a calendar link. Events appear in Sense and stay updated, and you edit them in Apple Calendar. Two-way sync with iCloud isn't available yet.
1. Get the calendar's link
On iPhone or iPad
- Open the Calendar app and tap Calendars at the bottom.
- Tap the info button next to the iCloud calendar you want.
- Turn on Public Calendar, tap Share Link, then Copy.
On a computer
- Sign in at icloud.com/calendar.
- Click the share icon next to the calendar.
- Turn on Public Calendar and copy the link. It starts with
webcal://.
"Public" means anyone with the link can view the calendar, though it isn't listed or searchable anywhere. Only calendars stored in iCloud can be shared this way - a calendar On My iPhone or from another account has no link.
2. Add it to Sense
- In Sense, open Settings → Connected Calendars and tap Connect a calendar.
- Choose Apple Calendar.
- Paste the link and tap Check link.
- Give it a name and color, and optionally assign it to a family member so its events wear their color.
- Tap Connect calendar.
Sense checks the calendar about once an hour, so a brand-new event can take a little while to appear.
Calendars from other accounts on your iPhone
The Calendar app on iPhone often shows Google or Exchange calendars too. Those don't have an iCloud link - connect them at the source instead, with Google two-way sync or an Outlook link.
Bringing outside calendars into Sense is part of Premium.
