Require approval for chores

By default, marking a chore done pays out its feathers immediately. If you'd rather a grown-up check the work first - was the bed actually made? - turn on approval.

1. On the Chores tab, tap the gear to open Chore settings.
2. Turn on Require approval.
3. Now when a child marks a chore done, it waits in a pending state until a parent approves it - only then are feathers awarded.

Keeping it parent-only

If you've set an account PIN (under Settings → PIN Lock), approving is protected by it, so a child can't approve their own work. It's the same PIN that guards Kid Mode.
