Email to Calendar
Why an email wasn't picked up
Almost every forwarded email gets processed. If one didn't turn into events, it's nearly always one of a few things.
The usual reasons
- No real dates. If the email doesn't contain a date Sense can read, there's nothing to add. A "save the date" with no actual date is a common culprit.
- The sender wasn't verified. On the free path, forward from an address you've verified under Verified Emails, or use your personal Premium address. Mail from an unrecognized sender is set aside.
- It's still processing. Large emails, long chains, and PDF attachments take a little longer - give it a couple of minutes.
Where to check
Open the Messages tab. It lists everything you've forwarded (under Emails) and everything you've shared or uploaded (under Uploads), and shows what Sense extracted from each. If an email is there but empty, it usually means no dates were found; if it's not there at all, the forward didn't reach Sense.
Still stuck?
Forward it again from a verified address, or email us the subject line and we'll take a look. Sharing the original as an attachment helps us reproduce it.
