Save a recipe from a video
So many good recipes live in reels and short videos now. Share one into Sense and it becomes a real, cookable recipe in your recipe box.
- In Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube, tap Share on the post or video.
- Choose Sense from the share sheet. You can also paste the link into + > From a link.
- Sense saves the ingredients and steps, and a banner lets you know when it's ready.
How Sense finds the recipe
- The caption first. Recipes written out in the caption or description come through most completely.
- Then the link. If the caption points to the full recipe on a website, Sense follows it.
- Then the video itself. When the recipe is only spoken out loud ("Easy dinner!" and nothing else in the caption), Sense listens to the video and writes the recipe down from what's said.
Sense listens to videos up to 10 minutes long. Private accounts and recipes posted only in the comments can't be read.
