Add a school calendar

School calendars are the ones worth automating - term dates, closures, early releases, concerts. If your school publishes a calendar link, add it once and it stays current all year.

If the school has a calendar link

1. On the school's website, open its calendar page and look for a Subscribe, iCal, or ICS link (sometimes under an RSS or share icon).
2. Copy that link.
3. Add it in Settings → Connected Calendars → Import to Sense, choosing School as the source and a color that stands out.

Assign it to the child it belongs to and their term dates land in that kid's color.

If there's no link

Plenty of schools only send email. That's fine - forward the school's emails instead, and Sense builds the events from those. Many families do both: subscribe to the official calendar for term dates, and forward newsletters for the week-to-week details.
